Are you struggling with intrusive thoughts? Do you frequently doubt yourself despite 'knowing' the facts? Are you constantly distressed because you engage in repetitive behaviors? Do you feel compelled to perform unnecessary and tiresome tasks to repel distressing thoughts, images, or negative feelings?
–Perhaps you are struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Dr. Casados: "One of my primary clinical specialties and true passions is the treatment of OCD. While I am not a survivor of OCD, nor am I aware of any of my own family members with this condition, I am good at what I do. I absolutely love watching my clients get better. OCD is very treatable, but it takes a skilled clinician who knows what he or she is doing." Call Today for a consultation.
“BRING IT ON, OCD!”
I hold certification from the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), which is an intensive program designed to properly train professionals to use the correct tools to treat OCD. I am also a member of the OCD International Foundation and an associate of Beyond OCD (Formerly OCD Chicago).
I primarily use graded Exposure - Response Prevention (E/RP) strategies to treat OCD, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I have educated many other professionals, parents, loved ones, and clients about the diagnosis of OCD and the correct treatment protocols, including how family members can help.
My experience also includes providing seminars on the treatment of OCD, teaching graduate students, and networking with fellow OCD specialists, including therapists at Rogers Memorial Hospital, a residential treatment facility that treats OCD.
